Yeah, your boy been training still. Pretty much.
I fell off for bout a strong month. Between me not getting enough sleep cause I kept on staying up to talk to females and then I cut back on my caloric intake and all that shit....and allergies jumped up and started woming that ass. I pretty went around feeling like a tired no energy having horny ass zombie.
But I got me some ass. And I started getting me some sleep. And I got back on my vitamins and other shit. I got back on my GNC MEGA MAN Sport Multivitamins. My B-12 and my Chromium. The Mega Man shit and B-12 because my body needs the extra vitamins that it was loosing from the hard training and all that. The chromium...actually chromium picollinate is something my doc (he is all into the wholistic thing) told me about way back when I had the brush with diabetes. Chromium helps your body to process glucose faster and more efficiently. It also works as an appetite suppressant. He suggested I take 400 micrograms. I started with that back when I first started taking vitamins and such. I was on the chromium and then started the mega man vitamins. Well, the mega man vitamins have another 150 micrograms of chromium which boosted my total chromium intake to 550 micrograms. At that level I can deffinitely feel that appetite suppressant effect. It gradually decreases to where you can't really tell...until you get off.
Studies were done on chromium and its effects on atheletes. It was found that 600 is the best dose level and that after a period of about 8 weeks or so (I don't really remember) the cats leanded up and gained a little muscle and had performance increases.
Anyway, here are the weights and reps I'm doing:
Incline dumbell press: 3x10 with 90's
flat bench with barbell: 3x10 with 265lbs.
Curls with ez curl bar: 3x8 with 115lbs. (Thats 45's on that bar)
tricep pulldowns with the cables: 3 sets reps ranging from 25 to 15
Folks are noticin your boy in the gym, tho. Like damn....he is not playing with twice the weight I am doing faster, easier, and with much better form.
Anyway.......Real soon to Sobe!! I'm bout to botox and nair my balls!

Kiss My Ass (Open Post)
Yo....Have you ever thought about some fucked up ways to quit a job that you hate? Like taking a vacation and starting a new job while your other job pays you for vacation; then on your last day of vacation you call the old company in a calm collected voice "Well you know Boss.....Kiss my ass...Oh Word..I'm fired.....Well I got another Job.....ALLOW ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF MY NAME IS HOVA BITCH". OR emailing your old boss with your new email address Something like this:
From: Bryant, James C. (james.c.bryant@newcompany.com)
To: Old, Boss
Subject: KMA
As you can see I'm emailing you from another company. So...I quit
Please Kiss My Ass,
Chris
Something like that...lol...
Please share some ideas.....I know ya'll got some

Day 2 in the gym...
Ok here's my workout summary for Day 2:
Dumbell press. 10 reps @ 60, 70 and 80 lbs.
Dumbell rows. 10 reps @ 65, 75, 75
Dumbell tricep extension. 10 reps @ 60, 70, 70
Dumbell Curls. 10 reps @ 40, 40, 35
Crunches 3 X 15
20 mins of elliptical cardio
My back was straining a bit with the tricep extension, which means i probably need to stretch and regain some flexibility.
I know this is a little biznitch workout compared to what the other members of team diesel are doing now. But i gotta slowly work my way back in it.
I chose to work with dumbells the whole time to get more work. This more work is achieved by incorporating stabilizer muscles when you're lifting and trying to maintain good form. The downside is that you can't lift that much weight immediately, you have to work up to it. So i'm looking to up the weights in about a week.

Passionate vs. Gifted
When a person speaks of their passion usually you hear things like "i can't live without it", "it's all i've ever wanted to do", "i could do this for the rest of my life and be happy" and more lines to that effect.
I'm all for people being passionate about something and going after their dreams. But keep in mind that some of these things can and will always remain just that, DREAMS.
Then on the other hand, there is the concept of being gifted. Sometimes it's referred to as your God given talent. The best way that I have heard it described is a skill, or a trade, or a method of doing something that comes naturally to you. Something to where you achieve exceptional results while putting in very minimal effort. Think of gifted athletes and musicians. I'm not saying that these people work any less harder than the average person. What I am saying is that what takes the average person two or three times the effort to achieve, it takes the gifted person very minimal effort.
Which goes into what I'm really trying to say, we should focus more of our efforts into making the most of our gifts and a little less time in things we are passionate about. I'm not saying give up on your passions. We all have these and we need them to keep us alive and to break away from the everyday routines that we have to go through with bills and responsibilities.
I'm not saying give up your passions. Instead I'm saying to enhance your gifts. You can make the most out of your life and the world around you with these gifts. If you're gifted with math and science, then consider tutoring or mentoring. If you're a gifted speaker, then go out and talk to people, help people to overcome their fears of speaking.
As with anything, what starts out as a passion can turn out to be a gift. Time changes everything.
When it comes to passions, you can spend the rest of your life spinning your wheels chasing what you think you're supposed to be good at. Doing this, causes you to miss out and take for granted the things that you have been gifted with.
Know your passions and enjoy them, share them with others. But use your gifts to make the world around you that much better. It's your way of leaving your mark on the world. It shouldn't be that hard because when you think about it, it's what you were "born to do."

The long way back...
it's a long climb back to the top, but every great feat always begins with that first step...
being out of the gym and that hardcore workout grind for about 2 months has really put a strain on my body. I woke the other day with a stiff back and some 246lbs on my 5'11" frame.
In fullback or linebacker terms, that would be an ideal situation. But I ain't on no pro ball team so the only term to describe this situation for me is "out-of-shape." Don't get me wrong, a lot of cats would need a lot of work to have the build that i have and the weight and muscle distribution that I carry. But for me, it's just not a comfortable situation
So I headed back to the gym via L.A. Fitness at Waterford Lakes in Orlando. This was Day 1:
weight 246 lbs.
-1 basketball game which mostly consisted of running up and down the court for 10 mins and breaking a sweat. Scored 2 points in a game to 11...
-Pulldowns, 3 X 10 at 135 lbs.
-Bench press, 3 X 10 at 185 lbs.
-10 mins of cardio on the elliptical machine.
The new occurence is beckys with a booty and some tig ole. I seen em and they do exist!
it's a long way back but i'ma keep you posted...

Remembering Dr. King
Today is April 4 and it marks the 40 year mark since the assasination of Dr. Martin Luther King.
I sit here today in my position in corporate america living up to my end of the deal. Dr. King worked hard all of his life and gave the ultimate sacrifice just so I could do what I am doing now.
Making it through college, staying out of prison, and keeping my head straight is just me keeping up my end of the deal.
Dr. King gave his life, everything above is just me giving as much as I can in return.
Take time to think about where we are today...
peace...
